All repairs have been carried out in the traditional Japanese Sashiko style using Boro stitching. Sashiko is a Japanese clothing repair technique from the nineteenth century, whereby damaged clothing is patched over with scrap cloth and sashiko stitching. This visual mending style produces a strong patch & unique appearance.
